On Saturday, "Man Utd" defeated "Liverpool" and surpassed "Man City" by one point, but tonight the situation returned to its previous state.
Although the hosts defended successfully for a long time, in the 63rd minute after a corner kick, defender Lescott sent the ball into the opponent's goal. In the closing minutes, "Aston Villa" could have equalized, but goalkeeper Joe Hart impressively saved Darren Bent's shot.
Another important victory was secured by the "West Bromwich" club, who crushed their league neighbor "Wolverhampton" 5-1 on the road.
