German football legend Franz Beckenbauer accuses Bayern Munich's security Arjen Robben of selfishness.
The 66-year-old specialist urges the Netherlands national team member to consider the team's interests more often.
"Robben is a selfish footballer, and there are quite a few like him," Beckenbauer said. "This is evidenced by his reaction after a goal: instead of thanking the player who made the pass, he runs towards the stands seeking his family members. Therefore, the team has to run after him again.
"There will come a moment when other players will think: 'if I make a pass to you, but remain forgotten, next time come and get the ball yourself'. Arjen should think more about the team than he has done so far."
This season, the injury-stricken Dutchman scored five goals in 12 matches.
