Legendary Scottish Glasgow club Rangers faced serious financial difficulties - bankruptcy documents have already been filled out to start the procedure. The decision whether to transfer the team to bankruptcy administrators will be made by the court in Edinburgh.
Currently, Rangers' leaders are having problems with unpaid taxes, and the debt could reach 50 million pounds sterling.
The club representatives themselves regret that the "Blues" have ended up in such a situation, but added that such actions are necessary in order to survive.
In the case of bankruptcy, Rangers would be deducted at least 10 points and a ban on signing contracts with new footballers would be imposed.
Let us remind you that currently in the tournament table Rangers are in second place with 61 points. Glasgow Celtic leads (65 points), third is Motherwell (42 points).
