The owner Silvio Berlusconi considers his managed club as the favorite of the Italian championship.
The team defending the title is leading the championship, but Turin's "Juventus," trailing by just one point, has played one match less.
"We never doubt our chances to defend the title," said Berlusconi. "We are convinced that we will surpass "Juventus," even though we have a lot of respect for this club."
Former Italian prime minister also celebrated the victory in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16. Massimo Allegri's team crushed London's "Arsenal" at home 4-0.
"This is a solid first step," he assured. "We need to finish the job next month in London."
