With a move to China linked, Didier Drogba insists he wants to stay at the London club.
The Ivorian national team member is interested in Shanghai Shenhua, where former English team striker Nicolas Anelka recently moved. However, the 33-year-old veteran is currently not planning to follow the Frenchman's example.
"I am happy in London," - said Drogba, who will become a free agent in the summer, to the BBC. "I belong to the Chelsea team and that is the most important thing. Everyone knows that I want to stay, everyone knows how much I love this club and its fans."
The striker assured that he does not have any problems when sometimes being left on the bench: "The coach makes a decision that I have to respect. If I don't play, I don't play. We are all together and we respect the coach's word. We will continue to do so."
In the Premier League, Drogba scored three goals in 15 matches.
