Sir Alex Ferguson hopes that after stepping down from the head coach position, he will continue to work at the club.

The 70-year-old strategist plans to work for another two or three years, although he once intended to retire back in 2002.

"I will stay active, my wife encourages me to do so. I think there will be a place for me in the club management," said Ferguson.

Under the leadership of the Scotsman, the Manchester team has won 12 English championship titles, as well as triumphed twice in the European Cup tournament.
