Strategist Pep Guardiola is convinced that his students do not deserve to have a 10-point deficit in the Spanish championship.
On Sunday, the Catalans at home crushed "Valencia" 5-1, but the leader Real Madrid still has a double-digit advantage.
"This evening we played very well. We are very satisfied," said the specialist. "It's great that we managed to cheer up the fans."
"We are lucky to have footballers of this generation - it is a privilege for me to work with them. We are 10 points behind Real, but I don't think we deserve that considering our game. This reality was determined by many factors, and it will be really tough to catch up."
And he added: "But we still have three months left, and to achieve this goal, we will need to give it our all."
