UEFA Europa League will have a new champion - Portugal's "Porto," defending titlist, withdrew from the competition on Wednesday, losing to wealthy "Man City."
In the return leg at home, the English side won 4-0, after celebrating a victory in the first match 2-1.
The hosts broke ahead just 19 seconds into the game, when Sergio Aguero sent the ball into the net after a sharp pass.
Edin Dzeko doubled the advantage in the 76th minute, and shortly after, "Porto" defender Rolando was sent off the field due to disputes with the referee.
This allowed "Man City" to crush their opponents: David Silva and newcomer David Pizarro scored.
