In a crucial match of the Italian championship against Turin, they will have to do without one of the leaders, Zlatan Ibrahimović.
The Swede was expelled from the field in the February 5 duel with Napoli for hitting an opponent in the face and was suspended for three matches. It was expected that the punishment would be mitigated after appealing, but the Italian champions did not receive a favorable decision.
"The decision is not fair, as he is punished for a violent action that was not violent," said a statement from Milan. "This is a big mistake."
In the Serie A championship, he scored fifteen goals in 19 matches.
