Robben insists he doesn't feel happy at "Bayern" club © EuroFootball.com

Arjen Robben admits that the past few months at the Munich club have not been pleasant.

The 28-year-old Netherlands national team member is not demonstrating the best athletic form, so he has lost his place in the main lineup of the German team. In addition, there has been criticism in the media about his tendency towards selfish play.

"When I started feeling well again after the injury, I started to be disturbed," said Robben. "There are a few newspapers that want to fight with me every few months. I take it very personally. It's really unfortunate that these things are happening."

His teammate and Bayern striker Thomas Muller defended him: "Accusations of selfishness are not meaningful, because Arjen controls the ball excellently, and he often has to dribble past opponents one-on-one."
