Vicente successfully recovers © EuroFootball.com

Recently, one of the leaders guarding Ruben Barajas, who had been missing, received some good news: the Spanish national team goalkeeper Vicente, who had not been seen on the field for three months, will start training already this month.

The "Valencia" star missed a large part of this season due to a left ankle injury he suffered in September during the Champions League match against "Werder" Bremen.

The 23-year-old Spaniard has recently been training extensively individually, both in the gym and in the pool, and hopes to return to the field as soon as possible.

It is not doubted that Vicente will not be able to play in this weekend's match against "Getafe" or in the upcoming World Cup qualifying match with his national team, but it is believed that the goalkeeper will return to the "Valencia" lineup on April 3 in the match against "Zaragoza."

"Vicente is recovering, but he still feels pain in his left ankle," said "Valencia" doctor Jorge Candelas. "He works harder every day, but it will take some time before he fully recovers."

Not recovering as successfully is defender Curro Torres, who had knee ligament surgery and is expected to return to the field two weeks later.
