London defender David Luiz insists that Frank Lampard should not expect special treatment in the team.
The English national team defender has often not been included in the starting lineup this season and admitted that his relationship with coach Andre Villas Boas is "not ideal."
"There are no privileged individuals. Lampard simply has to listen to the coach's instructions and follow them," said the Brazilian. "No player can forget that they are just employees of the club."
Luiz also defended 34-year-old Villas Boas, whose future hangs in the balance due to poor results.
"Last season there were teams in a bad situation in the league table, but no one talked about it. It's easiest to discuss Andre because Chelsea is a big club fighting for first place. But when they are in third or fourth place, all arrows point at the strategist," Luiz affirmed.
He added: "We have an extremely competent coach who is also a great person, so I have no doubt about his successful future in this team."
