The nearest weeks will pass without the injured defender Daniel Agger.
In the final of the English league cup tournament, the Dane injured his ribs and will definitely miss Saturday's match against London's "Arsenal."
Agger, together with Martin Skrtel, formed a tough-to-beat center-back tandem, and "Liverpool" is in second place in the league in terms of goals conceded: just 23 in 25 matches.
It is not yet clear if midfielder Steven Gerrard will take to the field, as he is feeling pain in his groin.
"I don't know what the problem is, so I can't comment on Steven's chances of playing on Saturday," said manager Kenny Dalglish. "We need to wait and see what the doctors say."
