The new England national team coach will be revealed only at the end of the club season.

Last month, Fabio Capello unexpectedly resigned from the post, and in friendly matches against the Netherlands, the team was temporarily led by youth team coach Stuart Pearce.

The undisputed favorite to take over the reins of the England team is considered to be Harry Redknapp, who currently manages Tottenham in London, but they do not want to hinder him as the season approaches its crucial phase.

"We have a list, but many specialists are currently employed, and we do not want to interfere with them," said Football Association (FA) general secretary Alex Horne. "We do not intend to rush, so we expect nothing until the end of the season."

It is not out of the question that in June, during the European Championship, Pearce would coach the England national team, and later a long-term contract would be signed with a new coach.
