Strategist Pep Guardiola claims that his team was stronger than the opponents, therefore winning so many trophies in recent years.
The Catalan team dominated in Europe, winning three Spanish champion titles and triumphing twice in the Champions League. In total, since 2008, "Barcelona" has won 13 trophies.
"Let's speak frankly: we won so much because we were better than others," the specialist said. "Even thirteen titles out of sixteen possible are the result of athletes' hard work. Football belongs to the footballers themselves, so we triumphed because we have fantastic players."
Currently in the Spanish championship, "Barcelona" is 13 points behind "Real", but can reduce this difference if they defeat Santander's "Racing" on Sunday.
