Strategist Sir Alex Ferguson admitted that Dimitar Berbatov will most likely leave the club this summer. According to the specialist, the Bulgarian wants to play regularly in the main lineup, but he cannot guarantee that.
"Being 31 years old, Dimitar wants to play, but I cannot promise that. Therefore, he will most likely look for another team," Ferguson stated.
Berbatov arrived in Manchester in 2008 from London's Tottenham for almost 35 million euros and was the top scorer last season with 22 goals.
However, this season the striker, who has scored seven times in 10 matches, loses the competitive battle to Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck, and Javier Hernandez.
