On Friday, the draw for the quarterfinal and semifinal stages of the UEFA Europa League was made.
The club from Bilbao, "Athletic", who eliminated the English champions "Man Utd", will compete against the German team "Schalke" from Gelsenkirchen for a spot in the strongest four, while "Man City", who defeated Lisbon's "Sporting", will face Charkov's "Metalist" from Ukraine.
The winners of these ties will also play against each other in the semifinal stage.
In the other quarterfinal match-up, Madrid's "Atletico" will test their strength against "Hannover", while Alkmaar's AZ will try to overcome the barrier of "Valencia".
The first quarterfinal matches are scheduled for March 29, with the second legs taking place on April 5.
