41-year-old Molina worked since December, when he replaced Jose Carlos Garrido. At first, things were going well for him: the team played a draw with "Valencia" and beat "Villarreal" away, but later the victorious streak ended, and out of the last five matches, four were lost.
In the tournament table, the "submarines" are only in 17th place and are three points ahead of clubs in the relegation zone.
Just a couple of days later, "Villarreal" will face Madrid's "Real". It is still unclear who will lead the team in that match.
