On Monday, one round of the Italian championship games was played.
The "Roma" footballers secured a minimum victory, defeating the "Genoa" club 1-0 at home. The only goal was scored by the Italian-born Argentine Pablo Osvaldo in the third minute of the match. The visitors had the chance to equalize the result, but in the 71st minute Rodrigo Palacio hit the crossbar.
"Roma" decreased the gap from the other capital team "Lazio", which currently holds the third place guaranteeing a spot in the Champions League, to four points.
