LFF announced on Friday the final expanded list of players selected by Algimantas Liubinskas for the Lithuanian national team training camp in Berlin.

Yesterday LFF had distributed a list of nineteen players, but now it has been supplemented with six more players. Therefore, a total of 25 national team football players will prepare for the World Championship qualification match against Bosnia and Herzegovina in Germany.

Mindaugas Malinauskas was selected as the third goalkeeper of the team, Irmantas Zelmikas was chosen in defense instead of the uninvited Ignas Dedura, Valdas Trakys will occupy Tom Radzinevicius' place in the attack, and additional defenders Tomas Mikuckis, safeties Tomas Tamosauskas and Saulius Mikoliunas were also invited.

However, Malinauskas, Mikuckis, Tamosauskas and Mikoliunas will most likely play for the national youth team (up to 21 years old) and will only be substitutes in the national team in case any of the main players get injured.

Meanwhile, 26-year-old Trakys, who has represented the national team four times and plays for Krasnodar's "Kuban," and 25-year-old FBK "Kaunas" defender Zelmikas, who has only one game experience in the national team, should be backup players.
