Legendary French footballer Zinedine Zidane intends to start his coaching career in the near future.
Currently, the former midfielder holds the position of sports director at Real Madrid, but he plans to try his hand at coaching as well.
"Sooner or later, I will be closer to the field than I am now," Zidane told the radio station "France Info. "I want to share my experience. I won't find anything new, but I want to do what I know best."
The 39-year-old Frenchman added that he is not in a hurry: "I have time. I need to improve, not rush too much. The process should happen naturally."
During his career, Zidane wore the jerseys of clubs like "Cannes," "Bordeaux," Turin's "Juventus," and Madrid's "Real." With the French national team, he managed to win the 1998 World Cup and the 2000 European Championship.
