On Saturday, the 26th round of the Bundesliga began. It was marked by a multitude of goals and yellow cards - twenty-six goals were scored and thirty-two yellow cards were shown in seven matches.
After Saturday's matches, "Bayern" and "Schalke" clubs share the top position in the league table, but the Gelsenkirchen team has played one match less.
At home, "Bayern" club defeated the league's last-placed team "Hansa" 3-1. The visitors managed to score an early goal, but the Munich team remained composed and secured their sixteenth victory this season. It is worth mentioning that the referee showed eight yellow cards in this match.
This round was much more successful for the league's other bottom-placed team, "Bochum" club. In the match held in Bochum, the hosts achieved an impressive victory, thrashing "Wolfsburg" team 5-1.
In another match, the defending champions "Werder" club beat "Nurnberg" 2-1. Meanwhile, Leverkusen's "Bayer" celebrated a victory against "Kaiserslautern".
The round was also successful for the "Borussia" players. The Dortmund team, after a tough battle, defeated "Hamburger" club 3-2. Ewerthon scored the winning goal with three minutes left to play.
