On Friday, in the only Lithuanian championship match in Pakruojis at Marijampolė's "Arvi" football arena, "Kruoja" was unable to beat Alytus' "Dainava." The match ended goalless - 0:0. The Pakruojis team has not yet managed to defeat the unkind Alytus team.
Pakruojis started the game more actively and immediately took the initiative. In the early minutes, Vadimas Antipovas could have opened the scoring for "Kruoja" with a penalty kick, but he lacked accuracy. The visitors continued to control the ball more, and "Kruoja's" goalkeeper Maris Eltermanis had little work to do. However, this did not bring a goal.
After the break, the situation on the field did not change. "Kruoja," who had territorial and game superiority, threatened their opponents' goal most dangerously with long-distance shots and set-piece situations. "Dainava" tried to respond with counterattacks, but none of them were so dangerous as to pose a greater threat. Neither "Kruoja" nor "Dainava" scored any goals.
"Kruoja" earned their fourth point (6th place). "Dainava" (6 points) moved to fifth.
