The largest Croatian sports newspaper "Sportske novosti" was interested in how things are going for coach Damir Petravičius and the team of VMFD "Žalgiris" in Lithuania.
This is not the first time when a representative of Vilnius City Football Club "Žalgiris" receives the attention of this Croatian sports newspaper. A few weeks ago, Žalgiris striker Calum Elliott made it to the pages of "Sportske novosti" and was selected as one of the best European players of the weekend.
Žalgiris head coach D. Petravičius spoke to the Croatian press about the very successful season that has started in Lithuania. The strategist also didn't forget to praise his current protege C. Elliott.
"Our team is playing well, we win many matches. The management is also satisfied with our results. Important matches with one of the best teams in the country, "Sūduva", are waiting for us this weekend. After this clash, we will be able to discuss more about the true strength of our team and future prospects. I am pleased with the Croatian team's game.
