A three-match ban and a €40,000 fine has been imposed on London coach Arsene Wenger for his behavior during the Champions League round of 16 match against "Milan."
The specialist from France was not happy with referee Damir Skomina's work and let him know it directly. The English team won the game 3-0, but was eliminated from the tournament as they had lost the first match 0-4.
"The decision is unjust, I will appeal," said Wenger. "I think UEFA wants to make tournament referees untouchable, you can't even talk to them. The only thing they understand after the match is the report. After working for 25 years in European cup competitions, I have the right to speak with referees."
