Leaders are considering the possibility of changes as they see how the team lost their sixth match out of the last seven in the English Premier League. Over the weekend, the 'Reds' lost 0-2 to "Newcastle" away and currently occupy only eighth place in the standings, having won only two matches in the national championships back in 2012. However, they managed to win the English league cup and reach the semi-finals of the Football Association (FA) cup.
Despite this, there are rumors that the coach Kenny Dalglish's position might be in danger. However, it is doubted whether the owners would dare to fire the Scottish, who is a club legend and beloved by many fans.
"After losing several matches in a row in the Premier League, it must be acknowledged that there is a crisis," said BBC commentator Mark Lawrenson. "But I don't think Kenny will step down or be fired. Currently, Liverpool is trying to catch up with their rivals and cannot afford Champions League level players because they are not in contention for that tournament."
He added: "Unfortunately, I think Dalglish must win the next match against Birmingham's Aston Villa. Four players he bought in the summer have scored only six goals altogether when the number should be 25 or 30."
