Strategist Sir Alex Ferguson insists that winning goals at the end of matches are part of the club's history.
On Monday, in the English championship match, the 'Red Devils' defeated Blackburn 2-0, but both goals were scored in the last 9 minutes.
"It was a long night. We had to be patient and eventually we were rewarded," said Ferguson. "Late goals perfectly illustrate the history of Man Utd."
If in the next match Man Utd wins at home against London's Queens Park Rangers, then they will be ahead of Man City by eight points in the tournament table. These teams are awaiting a tough trip to London and a match against Arsenal.
However, Ferguson is not rushing to celebrate: "There are still seven matches left, and from experience, I can say that the most important thing is not the points difference, but every upcoming match. Whether it's Wednesday or Sunday, every game is extremely significant.
"The players are ready for it. We will fight until the very end in every match."
