On Friday, there were just one match played in the Lithuanian championship.
Ambitious Pakruojo "Kruoja" secured their second victory of the season, defeating Gargždai "Banga" 1-0 on the artificial turf pitch of the Panevėžys Football Academy. The only goal of the match was scored by defender Tomas Miklinevičius at the beginning of the game.
With 7 points, "Kruoja" temporarily climbed to fourth place in the tournament table, while "Banga" (2 pts) ranks second to last in ninth place.
There are still three more matches in the "A lyga", including a clash between the leaders Panevėžys "Ekranas" and Vilnius "Žalgiris", coming up on Saturday.
