On Sunday, seven matches of the 29th round of the Italian championship were played, standing out for their productivity and drama. The clubs "Inter" and "Udinese", fighting for third place, achieved victories at home, and so did the underdogs "Chievo" and "Atalanta", while three matches ended in a draw.

"Inter" took the lead throughout the match on their home ground, but managed to overcome "Fiorentina" with a 3-2 result, while "Udinese" had to recover from a missed goal and snatched the victory only at the very end of the match.

The matches between "Parma" and "Palermo" were productive and dramatic - the hosts were trailing the whole match, but thanks to A.Gilardino's goals, managed to secure a draw. The same 3-3 result ended the match between "Livorno" and "Cagliari", but this time the role of the trailing team belonged to the visitors.

An unexpected victory was achieved by the absolute underdog "Atalanta", who unexpectedly won away against "Sampdoria", while in the underdog duel, "Chievo" defeated the "Brescia" team. The only match between "Messina" and "Bologna" ended goalless.
