In the central match, defending champions Panevėžys "Ekranas" secured a crucial victory by defeating Vilnius "Žalgiris" with a minimal score of 1-0.
Valdas Urbonas' team performed better than their opponents for most of the game, and in the 56th minute, Mantas Savėnas sent the ball into the top corner of the goal with a great shot.
Žalgiris struggled in attack, and their only real chance to equalize came from Tomislavas Pekas, whose long-range shot was saved by goalkeeper Emilijus Zubas.
Earlier, Marijampolė's "Sūduva" secured their fourth victory by defeating Alytus "Dainava" with a score of 3-1. The hosts took the lead through Rafael Ledesma's strike, but just before half-time, Martynas Biržinis equalized.
In the second half, Virginijus Liubšys' team showed their superiority: Ledesma scored again, and Tadas Eliošius sealed the victory in the 86th minute.
After this round, the table is tied. "Žalgiris," "Ekranas," and "Sūduva" each have 12 points.
