On Saturday, there were seven matchs of the XXXII round in the English Premier League.

Jaun Mata's goal during added time by the referee led to London's Chelsea's 2-1 victory against relegation-battling Wigan.

Branislav Ivanovic put the hosts ahead at the start of the second half, although clearly offside, and in the 82nd minute Mohamed Diame restored parity with a great shot.

Yet the final word was said by the London team: after an impressive shot by Fernando Torres, the ball rebounded off the post, and Mata was the first to react.

This victory allowed Chelsea (56 points) to reclaim the fifth position in the league table. They are just 2 points off the coveted fourth place, currently held by London's Arsenal, only ahead by one game.

London's Tottenham club failed to strengthen their position in the top four, ending the match away at Sunderland in a 0-0 draw.

After these draws, Tottenham (59 points) remained in third place, but could drop if London's Arsenal (58 points) fail to lose to Man City. Meanwhile, Sunderland (42 points) sits in eighth place.
