Vice President Adriano Galliani denies rumors that coach Massimiliano Allegri could soon be fired from his position.
One of the club's leaders stated: "His chair is definitely not shaking. Don't listen to those who say otherwise. I don't understand why there are doubts about the strategist, with whom we won the Italian championship twice."
The "Rossoneri" have long been leading in the "Serie A" championship, but after draws with "Catania" and a loss to "Fiorentina," they have ceded the leadership position to the Turin team "Juventus."
"What happened in the match against 'Fiorentina' could happen to 'Juventus' as well," said Galliani. "We paid the price for the fatigue we experienced in the matches against 'Barcelona,' but we are only one point behind."
The Italian champions were eliminated in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League, losing with an aggregate result of 1-3 to the defending champions from Spain. Allegri has been leading the team since 2010 when he arrived from another Italian club, "Cagliari."
