Country champions, Panevėžio "Ekranas", successfully started the semi-final stage of the Lithuanian Football Federation Cup on Tuesday evening. In the first match in Vilnius, "Ekranas" defeated the local REO team 2:0 (0:0).
Goals were scored by Andrius Velička, who scored in the 64th minute, and Vytautas Lukša at the end of the match. The second leg match will be held on April 25th in Panevėžys.
In the other semi-final match on Wednesday, Vilnius "Žalgiris" will meet Marijampolės "Sūduva".
