Coach Roberto Mancini surprised journalists by stating that his team has no hope of winning the English championship.
On Wednesday, the leader "Man Utd" sensationally lost 0-1 to "Wigan", while "Man City" crushed "West Brom" 4-0, reducing the difference between the teams to five points. Furthermore, they face each other in a head-to-head match, but the Italian did not shine with optimism.
"It's all over. Five points are too many," said Mancini. "The team spirit of 'Man Utd' is amazing - we don't have that."
Interestingly, just a few days ago Mancini spoke differently: according to him, anything can happen in the remaining six matches, so they need to fight until the end.
Mancini also praised Tevez, who scored a goal against "West Brom": "I'm happy with his performance. He's not ready to play 90 minutes, but this time he spent an hour on the field. It's very important."
