VMFD "Žalgiris" supported by the Baltic Football Academy (BFA) pupils became the winners of the "Hillar Otto Memorial" tournament held in Estonia. Ivano Švabovičius-trained boys born in 1999 won all six matches in the 12-team tournament. The "Hillar Otto Memorial" tournament took place on April 6-8 and teams from Estonia, Russia, Finland, and Lithuania participated. The Baltic Football Academy was the only representative from Lithuania.

The young Vilnius BFA footballers defeated the tournament hosts Tartu "FC Santos" and Tallinn "TJK Legion" with a score of 2:0. The only goal scored by the Lithuanians in this championship was by the boys from the Finnish team "Ilves" from Tampere, who were beaten 3:1. Another Finnish team, Vantaa VJS, was crushed by a score of 4:0. The boys from St. Petersburg's "Avtovo" in Russia did not fare any better, losing by the same result. The Vilnius BFA footballers won all 5 matches in the group stage, collecting 15 points without much competition and securing the first place.

In the final, the opponents from the Finnish team "KyIF" awaited the Vilnius team. They won 4 matches in their group and had one draw. The Lithuanians confidently defeated the strong opponents by a score of 2:0, becoming the champions of the "Hillar Otto Memorial" tournament.
