For two years Salvador Cabanas, who spent in hospitals, returns to the field - the footballer recovered after a terrible incident when he was shot in the head.

The striker, who represented Club America, argued with alleged drug dealer JJ Balderas, and this person shot the player in the head in a bar bathroom. Although doctors managed to save Cabanas's life, the bullet remained in his head, as the surgical attempt to remove it posed a significant threat to his life.

"No one survives what happened to me," said the 31-year-old footballer. "That's why I greatly appreciate everyone who prayed for me, as well as the president of Club 12 de Octubre who allowed me to be on the team.

"Faith is extremely important to me. It is only because of it that I am here now."

Some doctors call the recovery of the Paraguayan a miracle.
