The 24-year-old footballer collapsed on the pitch during a match against Tottenham on March 17th. Medics later confirmed that he had actually been dead for more than an hour.
However, doctors managed to save Muamba's life.
"Of course, I am very pleased to be discharged," said Muamba. "I want to thank all the specialists who took care of me."
Muamba's speedy recovery surprised many doctors, but it is still unclear whether he will be able to continue his professional career. Now he faces a long rehabilitation process.
