VMFD "Žalgiris" team leaders will have to empty their pockets. The cost of the incident during the match with Tauragė's team "Tauras" on Sunday is 1000 litas.
Disruptions began in the middle of the second half when "Tauras" fans clashed with police officers responsible for order. "Žalgiris" fans ran across the pitch to help them. The match was stopped for 5 minutes.
“Clubs must ensure that spectators supporting them refrain from unsportsmanlike or other misconduct before, during and after the match. Sanctions for spectators' unsportsmanlike or other inappropriate behavior must be imposed on the club,” the LFF Disciplinary Committee decision reads.
In a similar situation, a larger financial penalty may be imposed on the club.”
