The other team mates eventually separated the players who had started to clarify the situation with fists. This conflict was reported yesterday by the German newspaper "Sport Bild."
A black cat between the two players ran through the match with "Real" when at the end of the first half they argued about who would take the penalty kick. This controversial moment was captured by TV cameras, but immediately after the match, in an interview with the French "Canal+" television, F. Ribery tried to downplay the conflict.
