Two Catalan club newcomers face an unusual challenge at Camp Niu stadium on Saturday. Last summer, the Chilean Alexis Sanchez and the Catalan Cesc Fabregas arrived at Barcelona and will play in the first El Clasico match of the Spanish championship at Camp Nou stadium, continuing a quite peculiar tradition. Both footballers have already played against Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey, Spanish Super Cup matches, and away games in La Liga, but now Alexis and C. Fabregas have the opportunity to play against the team from the Spanish capital in a national championship match and, most likely, score at least one goal. Among the debutants of the Catalan team who managed to score a goal in the first El Clasico match of the Spanish championship at home are many recognizable names for football fans. And three players have even scored a "hat-trick" in their debut matches at Camp Nou. In the 1986-1987 season, England's football legend Gary Lineker did it, in the 1993-1994 season, Brazilian superstar Romario did it, and in the 2006-2007 season, current Barcelona leader and three-time world's best player Lionel Messi did it. In the 2010-2011 season, David Villa sent a double to Iker Casillas' goal. Barcelona debutants who managed to score in their first El Clasico match (only in La Liga) 1978-1979 - Hans Krankl 1980-1981 - Berndt Schuster 1980-1981 - Quini 1982-1983 - Diego Maradona 1986-1987 - Gary Lineker (3) 1989-1990 - Ronald Koeman 1993-1994 - Romario (3) 1995-1996 - Meho Kodro 1996-1997 - Ronaldo 1997-1998 - Sonny Anderson 2004-2005 - Samuel Eto’o 2004-2005 - Ronaldinho 2006-2007 - Lionel Messi (3) 2009-2010 - Zlatan Ibrahimovič 2010-2011 - David Villa (2)
