On Wednesday, the penultimate LFF Cup round of 16 matches were played - the seventh club to secure a spot in the quarterfinals was Marijampolė's "Sūduva", finishing their job by defeating Klaipėda's "Rodovitas".
In the first match, "Sūduva" crushed their opponents by a margin of twelve goals, so the second match became a formality, and this time "Sūduva" defeated "Rodovitas" with a score of 4-0, advancing further by overcoming the port city team with a total goal difference of 16.
Today, the quarterfinal draws were made, determining that "Sūduva" will face Vilnius' "Vėtra", "Žalgiris" will play against "Atlantas", "Šilutė" against "Ekranas", and "Kaunas" will find out their opponent after Saturday's "Vilnius" and "Šiauliai" match.
