Strategist Roberto Mancini is convinced that the favorite to win the English Premier League remains Manchester United.
After this weekend, the gap between the teams has decreased to three points, so the match at Etihad Stadium on April 30 could determine the rotation at the top of the league table.
"Of course, the favorite is Manchester United. This team leads by three points, and the last two matches of the season will not be very difficult. Our chances are certainly not greater," said the Italian.
Manchester United still has a home match against Swansea and a season closure away at Sunderland, while Manchester City will travel to Newcastle, who are fighting for a spot in the Champions League, and will host Queens Park Rangers at home.
"Is today a good day? All of you, journalists, wrote that the title race was over. There was nothing to fight for seven days ago. You wrote that. Congratulations to Manchester United coach Sir Alex Ferguson on a good season," said Mancini.
"After the derby, we face Newcastle with Champions League expectations and Queens Park Rangers fighting for survival. We can talk about trophies next Monday. For now, it is impossible."
He added: "I don't think Manchester United feel the pressure because they are used to such situations. Our situation is different because we are in this position for the first time. But we also do not feel pressure because no one believes in our success. We just have to finish the important season well. No matter how we played tonight - we have been playing well all season, and now the most important thing is just victories."
