Panevėžio "Ekrano" young team member, who turns 17 this Sunday, flew to Italy on Monday for a trial with the "Genoa" team. The player will spend the whole week in Italy.
Vykintas Slivka is a member of the Lithuanian U-17 national team and represents the "Ekrano" youth team. The club "Genoa" is the oldest football club in the country, with a history dating back to 1893. The team competes in the Serie A championship and currently occupies the 17th place out of 20 teams in the tournament.
At the end of October last year, Vykintas Slivka, a student of the Panevėžys football academy coach Linas Niurka, was invited for a two-week trial in Italy at the "Brescia" football training base. The sixteen-year-old from Panevėžys briefly left Lithuania at the beginning of November and, along with his Italian peers, improved his skills.
