Jose Mourinho will train Madrid's "Real" football players next season. Based on their sources within the Madrid club, the Spanish newspaper "El Mundo" reported that the 49-year-old Portuguese signed a new contract with "Real" last week. The old contract of J. Mourinho with "Real" was valid until the summer of 2014. The new agreement is also set for the same period, but by renegotiating the contract, the Portuguese has now strengthened his power. According to the new contract, J. Mourinho officially holds two positions: he is both a coach and the director of the "Real" club. The new agreement also provides for a much higher salary for the entire coaching staff invited by J. Mourinho. J. Mourinho has had unlimited power in the club so far, as it was precisely because of his wishes that the long-time "Real" general manager Jorge Valdano was sacked. The Argentine had been at the right hand of "Real" President Florentino Perez for many years, but the Portuguese coach forced him to step down. J. Mourinho will earn about 11 million euros per year at "Real."
