One of the leaders of the Lithuanian national football team, Marius Stankevičius, has received bad news - the athlete who has not played for a long time will have to lie on the operating table.
M. Stankevičius, who represents the club "Lazio" in Rome, will undergo Achilles tendon surgery.
After the surgery, the footballer will not be able to play for another three months.
If M. Stankevičius follows the schedule after the surgery, he should appear on the field in August.
