The coaching staff of "Bang" tried to surprise the opponents with the starting lineup - for the first time this season, G.Nikabadze appeared on the field from the first minutes, scoring the winning goal in the last round match against "Tauras". This decision paid off - in the middle of the first half, G.Nikabadze appeared in time and place. After E.Grigaitis' pass, he sent the ball into the hosts' goal from close range.
The calm and confident game of "Bang" approaching the end of the first half was disrupted by S.Tatiefang - in the 39th minute, for unsportsmanlike behavior against the opponent, the "Bang" legionnaire was sent off the field. With a numerical advantage, the people of Šiauliai directed all their attention to the guests' goal, but the reliable "Bang" players did not allow the hosts to create more dangerous attacks in the first half.
Even with one player less, the people of Gargždai started the second half quite actively and for some time were stationed near the Šiauliai penalty area. However, the game eventually moved to the "Bang" side of the field. In the 63rd minute, V.Myrnyi repelled a header from R.Vėževičius from a few meters with an impressive leap. However, just five minutes later, the same R.Vėževičius' run on the left ended with a goal into the guests' goal.
E.Grigaitis silenced the restless fans of "Šiauliai." In the 75th minute, he sent the ball into the hosts' goal from 18 meters, and "Bang" again found themselves ahead at 2:1. For the rest of the time, the people of Šiauliai attacked the Gargždai goal with great force, but all their attacks crashed against the "Bang" defensive wall. However, luck also played a role in achieving the victory - already in added time, the ball miraculously did not end up in the Žutautas players' goal.
"Bang" will play their next match in Vilnius on Thursday, May 3rd, at 19:00 against "Žalgiris."
