During the matches of the 35th round of the Italian "Serie A" championship played on Saturday, the "Napoli" club lost two important points in the fight for a place in next year's UEFA Champions League.
Walter Mazzarri's team conceded a goal in the 88th minute in an away match against "Roma", and shortly after the final whistle announced a 2-2 draw.
The Napoli team moved up to the third place in the tournament table, which guarantees a ticket to the most prestigious club football tournament on the Old Continent, but with one match less played, Roma's "Lazio" team has also collected 55 points.
"Roma" is currently in seventh place in the championship.
In other matches, there were two more draws - "Cagliari" and Verona's "Chievo", as well as "Palermo" and "Catania", ended in a tie.
