In the final of the French Cup, the "Lyon" club triumphed, defeating the amateur team "Quevilly" by a minimal result of 1-0, which competes in the third national league.
The first team trophy in four years was secured by Lisandro Lopez's goal in the 28th minute.
"I am proud that we managed to win this cup," said coach Remi Garde. "We played very well. This is a very important step after three dry seasons, which I hope will inspire future victories."
In the French championship, "Lyon" occupies the fourth place. Two weeks ago, the club lost to "Marseille" in the country's league cup final.
