Madrid leader Cristiano Ronaldo triumphs - his team surpassed their fiercest rival "Barcelona" and won the Spanish championship.
After the match, the Portuguese said: "I am extremely happy. This is my first Spanish championship title, so I am very happy. We achieved our goal.
"Winning such a victory is much more difficult when you have to beat a team like "Barcelona". But we were better than them. We fought hard for 10 months, and now we can celebrate."
The striker competing with Lionel Messi for the title of the most productive player in the league added: "I wanted to win the national championship the most. The "Golden Boot"? I already have two at home, but I wouldn't refuse a third one."
