The most beautiful goal of the English Premier League's 20-year-old was chosen by forward Wayne Rooney's accurate shot into the goal.
26% of the voters voted for the Englishman, with Dennis Bergkamp (19%) and Thierry Henry (15%) close behind.
"I grew up watching Premier League matches, so I feel amazing winning this award," Rooney said. "In the top ten goals that had to be chosen from, there are many great goals that I once saw on TV in my own home. Competing with Alan Shearer, Paolo Di Canio, Tony Yeboah, and Dennis Bergkamp is a huge honor, so I thank the fans."
